Do you want to help keep children safe in Camden?

The Camden Safeguarding Children Board (CSCB) is recruiting a Camden resident to become a Lay Member of the Board.

What you would do: We are looking for one person (or two) with knowledge of local child safety and issues within the local community, who could speak on behalf of the community - representing their views and needs. You will act as an independent, yet informed observer who is able to ask questions that professionals closely involved in the work might not think to ask. This is an opportunity to help make sure that agencies and organisations in Camden are safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people across the borough effectively.

As a full member of Camden Safeguarding Children Board you will be expected to attend six two-hour meetings per year and a small number of working groups. This is a voluntary post, but induction training and travel expenses will be provided if needed.
